The practice was founded by marketing, business development, brand industry practioner, speaker and author Gordon Price Locke. Brand Clarity Partners is focused on brands that serve a greater purpose, deliver positive impact to people, and have a commitment to the health and well-being of the world around us. Each engagement is designed to help a brand express itself with meaning, to grow with differentiating narratives and serve ambitious goals. What clients will get is smart positioning, audience understanding and improved sales. Gordon Price Locke
I am the street-smart guy as they say, well-educated but always focused on grounded, real-life solves and finding success with a healthy EQ. My life has been about marketing, brand and creativity. I have seen it all. It simply is my purpose. At the young age of six I won my elementary school’s barbeque ticket sales contest by a landslide. My knack for competition and business development was born. At 12, I won an adult art competition with a painting that I crafted by looking at what types of paintings were missing, what would be different and stand out. Let’s say that launched my brand awareness. I was taught to live a life of purpose and to always strive for better. In my teens I was head of a statewide youth council in North Carolina and I started working full time at 14.5 years old. In junior high school, while watching an episode of Bewitched I decided I would go into marketing and advertising and run an agency like Larry Tate. I made that happen, after working for some of the best in the business and delivering results.
My career includes leadership roles and work in 45 countries, for brands like The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Metters Industries, American Express-Rosenbluth International, Hawaiian Airlines, Sabre/Travelocity, and Allison Publishing/D Magazine Partners. Most recently as President & CMO of Pace Communications we were 5X Agency of the Year winner with CMI, Digiday and Ragan, during my 9.5 years. I have proudly served on a number of philanthropic boards, and give my time to make a difference. I have also had the honor of mentoring 16 marketing and brand leaders, who are now chief marketing and brand officers, or leading meaningful enterprises.
I started Brand Clarity Partners as a private practice so I can work as a solopreneur, with select experts, on projects that mean something to me and the world around us.
